i found a cream colored nut shaped growth on my cat. the 1st time i found one on him i was brushing him and it came off and there were tiny red worms at the bottom. does anyone know what it could be???

Take it to the vet. If you saw small worms that look kind of like little pieces of rice, those are tapeworm segments. The vet will give your cat Drontol/praziquantel to get rid of them. If you saw some other worms, your cat will get a different dewormer. The ones you buy in stores don’t work well, get the one from your vet.

Tonight after bringing my cat in I noticed something attached to his leg fur that turned out to be a worm.
I know of some of the more common worms cats cat get through treating my cats but this was different. It looked almost identical to an earth worm somewhat long as in maybe two inches except not as segmented.
My cat didn’t look like he’d been digging or wallowing in mud. Does anyone know what this could be? I have medicine to treat all intestinal parasites, I’ve just never came across this certain type.

is that where she gets deworm. I need to take her to vet also but close for thanksgiving holidays. but she won’t poop in the litter at all i don’t know why could it becasue of the worms.

Although I am keeping the cat outside for now, she has been living in our house for the last 2 weeks or so… my husband and I have found mobile tapeworm fragments AND flea larvae! I am SO disgusted! I have bleached and vacuumed- what else can I do!? -Grossed out! :-p

I have been worming her with nemex and this was her fourth treatment I gave her yesterday. Do you think it was getting rid of roundworms for a final? Do I need to worm her again in another two weeks? I’m so grossed out. Pretty sure it’s round worms. Long and looked like spagetti like and skinny.

Its just a little white head, and i wriggling black body, and is like.. a quarter of a centremeter…

i know my cat has fleas, and i got this flea treatment, but it looks useless, i mean, putting it around her neck, what about near her tail, i see heaps of fleas near her tail .. S:
