my cat has this b/f and we thought he lived at this one old mans house but we went to talk to him and he has he only has 3 female cats that were all nutered when they were little. so we have no idea who he belongs to… if anyone. and my mom found out he has worms. what should we do? give him meds? and if u think yes then what kind where do i get it? all that stuff.
also will me cat get worms from him? i know she licks him and stuff but shes nutered and i dunno if he is.

So i found a small skinny flat worm like thing coming out of my cats hind end it was still moving, however i have also noticed small grains of what appears to be rice. I just bought both animals medicine and gave it to them today. But now im afraid to sleep…help me out

I took my cat to the vet about her scooting, and for a general check- up, and she had her anal glands expressed, and was checked for worms, parasites, etc. She got a clean bill of health from the vet, but she is still doing it! It was pretty expensive, so I don’t want to take her back if I don’t have to. However, she’s destroyed my roomate’s rug and especially likes to do it on my clean bedsheets.
All my searching only comes up with worms or the anal glands… Could they be full again already? Or is there something I can do to stop this behaviour? Thanks!

Well, she has worms, and she usually sleeps in my bed… And in the middle of the night sometimes, I wake up, and she’s licking me on the face, and on the lips… Is there a possibility I will get/have worms?

ok, i have a big problem. my cat and dog have fleas. i am tring to get rid of some of my cats that are causing fleas in my home but some i really love and wan’t to keep. heres the main prob. relateing to my biggest problem ( fleas ), my mom said that my dogs and cats can get TAPE WORMS from fleas! is that true?
she also told me that us humens can also get worms? i am totally freaked out and tring to give my pets away to family that will take care of them snd lov them so that they dont get infected!!!! but i dont know if this is totaly true!!!!!!!!!!omg help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can a cat die from all types of worms?

My mother in law is staying with us for the weekend. Her dog is still at her house but it has worms. We have a 7 yr old cat and a 1 yr old kitten. Should I be worried that my cats could get worms indirectly?

my cousin was playing with his dog lastnight and my aunt told him not to let the kiss him becuz he(the dog) had worms, and she also said that if he did let the dog give him kisses that he would get the worms too. Im just wondering if this is all true.

Hey guys, I got my girlfriend a kitten for Christmas from a friend’s barn. Long story short, it cost us both $500 in vet bills at an emergency vet visit. Not as “free” as I thought. Anyways, the kitten has ear mites, a protruding anus that leaks poo everywhere, and possible parasites. Whenever I am over at my girlfriends house, especially her room where the kitten stays the majority of the time, I feel very uncomfortable. There are poo stains on the carpet everywhere (which I am cleaning today with a steam cleaner), but I just get worried the most when I lay on the bed with her. Paranoid maybe? Another thing that worries me is that she is really hands on with the cat, she gives it meds, cleans the poo up from the carpet, and lets the cat lick her hand/neck area. I have told her to wash her hands before we “get physical”, but she kind of gets mad at me, very defensive. I get really worried about where her hands have been, and where they are going on me…. can someone tell me how likely it is to contract these things from the kitten? I am heading over there in about 30 min, so I just need a heads up from the team!
