I have a 10 year old persian cat called Sinatra. Since just before Xmas he has been sick almost every night. I’ve tried changing his food, starving him for 24 hours and giving him chicken and rice, we’ve been to the vets and he’s had blood tests which didn’t show anything unusual so the vet gave him an injection to stop the vomitting. First one was a 14 day one, which worked – no sickness for 2 whole weeks. On day 15 he started being sick again, so back to the vets who then gave him an injection that should have lasted a month. That was last Thursday, but on Monday night he started being sick again and has been sick every night since then. I feed him on Whiskas pouches with a small amount of dried food for him to nibble on. He doesn’t go out, has been wormed, he’s still likes to play and as soon as he’s been sick he goes to eat some more. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I just don’t know what to do next.

This is serious and I’m scared. I came back from college for the spring break and was around my cat. She later turned up having worms. She was on bed and even rubbed against my face. Now I’m scared I could have them too. I have been losing weight, but that could be from stress (finals) and other sickness. But now I have a strange feeling in my throat and I’m scared. It feels like something is stuck in it or maybe crawling up. I have bad allergies so I have a lot of mucus. But I’m so afraid it is something because I have had this weird feeling all day. Can someone help me I’m really afraid. Can I die?

my cats have worms its been a struggle trying to clear them with wormer. i thought that i was washing my hands enough but im almost positive i have worms but idk. i haven’t seen any in my stool but i cant feel something movie. almost swimming in my lower abs sometimes upper. sometimes it EXTREMELY painful. i have been having direeha (spelling) in the mornings only on school days tho. idk why . sometimes i feel pinching in my intestines. when i feel with my hand on my lower ab sometimes i feel something moving. and if im still i can even see movement!!! but im not pregnant, honestly id rather be pregnant then have worms. ive been itchy all over my body too. any help?

cat is feral?/stray – started hanging around my house and found she had litter of 4 abour 3 weeks old. Caught kids and Momma and kept them in a vacant play house til cool temps arrived. Now their in my house. Fleas are gone, coats appear/feel healthy, kittens are playful and Momma is much more socialable and relaxed than she was initially but I’ve taken them to 2 different vets and can’t eliminate them. One vet diaganosed round, then with stool check #2 diagnosed Capilaria. Second vet diagnosed still had round worms. I’m worming all at same time so worms should be getting wormer everywhere, but they’re still reporducing apparently. Momma hasn’t been outside since September, but she did bring home the kids a kill then, but I wouldn’t allow her to take it in the house I was keeping them in til she escaped one day. But 2 days later, she walked right back in her house while I held the door open. This is the 3rd worming and the first time blood has been spotted – 6 mo – menstrating?

i am waiting to get my persian kitten however it has had ringworm for 9 weeks now and still has not cleared she first had it on her ears which still hasnt gone then it spreaded to her flank which has clear and today got tested and it has spread to her back side she has been on oral treatment and cream for her ears and shampoo of which she has to be bathed in… i got told before that it should clear within 6 weeks but now she has got another 2 weeks treatment which makes it to her being isolated for 11 weeks some one please help me to see if this is normal or is it some thing that the people are doin wrong!!!!

how do you know a cat has them? my kitten has had a runny stool as of last week, and when she was sleeping today, i saw these white things coming out of her butt.
what can we do for her, and how much does it cost to get her some medicine. please help…i don’t want her to be in pain.

my kitten was found outside while it was raining and it was 4 weeks old i only saw what looked like a grain of rice on its tail once so i looked through its pooh and therewere no parasites is there anything else i can do to see if it has tapewroms remember i only saw the little white thing once and it was on her tail.
ps the pooh was dry

A Couple times i have noticed a slight, light red blood in my 10 year old cats stool, but its not frequently…
I’ve taken a sample with no apparent blood to the vet and they annolized it and said that there was no parasite, but they gave me this medicine to help with it.
Should i be more concerned, or will this pass?
And is it normal for a cat to make a strange coohing noise.
Whenever i call my cats name he coohs, like hes trying to talk back to me. Does anyone else experience this?

I have 2 indoor cats and they have killed 5 in 2 weeks (plus traps in the basement have killed 2) BUT my cats are getting sick from killing these mice! They have some parasite that keeps giving my kitties infections! How do I get rid of them quickly so my cats will stop killing them and getting sick? Plus I have 2 toddlers and I am grossed out with the thought of these mice dead or alive roaming around. Not to mention when the cats get ill they go to the bathroom outside of their litter box. HELP please!!

We got our cat dewormed at the vet last week. Is it normal that now she has worms coming out of her butt? We didn’t even think she had worms we got her dewormed just as a precautionary. Now what? I can’t possibly try to clean everywhere she’s been. Is it harmful because I’m pregnant? How long will this happen for? Will she eventually get rid of all them on her own? How long does that take?
