So I just got a kitten from a friend recently, looked completely healthy.
Then I noticed his tummy was alittle bloated, I ignored it at first (stupid me) I thought it was just from him not eating much…
One day he threw up, but it was not just normal.
A few giant ring worms were in it, I’m pretty worried due to the fact that
I have 2 other cats, so I got the meds asap.
I put some in her mouth, and kept her in my room while i was asleep just in case she did it again no other cats would get into it.
when I got up there must of been atleast 6 piles of round worms in my room.
I’m wondering if her vomiting Round Worms is good after I gave her the meds? is that how it’s cured? and how can I know it’s taking affect ?

Sent me a randsom note with a lock of Mr. Sugarweasles hair. They demand the death of all Gummi Worm royalty or else my poor cat is sentances to a life of Gummi servitute.
What do I do? I do not even know where the Gummi Worm Palace is… Should I form an alliance with the Worms or just off them all?!

My cat has been shedding alot here lately. Haven’t thought too much of it considering the weather in my area has been hot then cold and then back again- I assumed he was just shedding cause the weather had his body upset. Today my fiance cleaned a table my cat likes to lay on and saw lots of hair and little black specks. I know what you are thinking and its not flea dirt due to the fact my cat has no fleas! We are not sure what they are some of them even curl at the ends. Along with that we saw two small patches of hair missing near his face but that could be from playing with the other pets. Any thoughts or ideas on what this could be is appreciated. Just would like to know if it is a serious enought thing where i need to be taking him to the vet. Thanks!

Take it to the vet. If you saw small worms that look kind of like little pieces of rice, those are tapeworm segments. The vet will give your cat Drontol/praziquantel to get rid of them. If you saw some other worms, your cat will get a different dewormer. The ones you buy in stores don’t work well, get the one from your vet.

where in the world did the worms come from. she has no flea’s. her eating habits havent changed and she doesnt appear to be sick. the worms are small and kinda grayish in color. definately not white and they are small. recently i had an over infeastation of fly’s in my apt. at first i thought the worms were maggots. my mom said maggots are maggots. i thought flys came from maggots. i have 2 cats but only one has worms. my other cat which ive had for 15 years wont poo in the litter box. never has. she poo’s in tub. i know i know gross but at least it isnt on the carpet or worse yet my bed lol. i cant afford a vet right now and i heard over the counter de wormers dont work. can someone please advise me what i should do? thanks

it is bleeding profusely, there is blood everywhere i cant beleive it, and since its winter the blood is frozen and its a weird orange color im thinking of just putting her down what do u think?

Although I am keeping the cat outside for now, she has been living in our house for the last 2 weeks or so… my husband and I have found mobile tapeworm fragments AND flea larvae! I am SO disgusted! I have bleached and vacuumed- what else can I do!? -Grossed out! :-p

Think about it–if you think worms come from milk – and you are giving store bought milk – why don’t WE have worms?
The FDA would shut down any site that sells contaminated food. Milk does not come out of the cow with parasites swimming in it. It’s cooled, then homoginized before being bottled, and it’s tested at the facility that does the bottling. If there’s antibiotics in the milk from the cow being treated for something, the milk is discarded.
Worms live in the intestines of animals. No milk comes from the intestines.
Cats get worms from eating prey that has parasites in their intestines. Or from ingesting fleas that may have the larvae stage of tapeworm in them (they’re part of the tapeworm life cycle). They don’t get it from milk.

My cat has just had kittens that are four days old , one passed away yesterday as it was not feeding , but the mum cat has got fleas and worms do you think thats why it died , Also i have bought flea n worms pirpets for my cats is it ok to use it on the mum cats ?
