my question is:
how many type of worms are there and how do u know which one it is that ur pet has.(how can u tell the difference.)?does anyone have any pictures of the different types
ok so I just found out my cat has worms and I’m trying to find out what kind. They are white and small they can change there shape when they move they get longer and then shorter as they move and can also get flatter? I would not of even know it was a worn if I had not seen it move it looks almost like white rice
Ooh, not fun. An older cat of mine had that…can’t recall the name…but you need to go to the vet and get a certain medicine to be given with food.
He is less than 2 years old and has never had glands problems. He is on a multiple cat indoor formula food. He is short haired and never has problems with poo being stuck to his butt or using the bathroom.
I came home and it was in my kitchen sink. Seems to like water. I have three cats. Worm kind of looks like a wire.

One day I went into my cats room and checked her litterbox for any stools that I needed to clean up…when I saw something moving in her stools I got worried…evertime she Went to the bathroom she had little white ricelike worms in her stools…can anybody tell me what they are called and if they are dangerous or harmful!-Thanks!
ok so it looks like rice after they die, where he lays down. looks sort of like magot when its still alive. what kind of worm is it?
and can you buy dewormer for it at a pet place? petsmart, petco ect.
They arent flat like tapeworms, and they arent long like round worms. She got them from eating hillcountry fair wet cat food. DO NOT FEED YOUR CATS THIS!! my cat had no worms until she ate this food, she lives inside, so she didnt get them from any outside creatures either!

They can get hookworm, roundworm(moms give to kittens thru milk), and tapeworms. You can read about these at the website. And yes they can do great harm to the mother and kittens. So I Highly suggest you take the mother the the vet and they will give her dewormer (should be taken to the vet every year for this and other things). Dewormer will take care of everything. But afterwards if they had worms you will see the dead ones in their poop and theres a good chance the dewormer will give her diarrhea for a day or 2 which is normal.
