Apart from my in-house pets (1 dog and 2 cats) I have three ‘garden ‘ cats, that come and go as they please but mainly stay there because I feed/look after them.
To-day I decided to de-worm them and ground up some drontal tablets which I mixed with their food. They were about two thirds through their meal when a neighbour’s dog jumped over the wall and ate the remainder.
Do you think they got enough medicine or will I have to give the same again?
If I do have to repeat, should I wait a few days until the current dose has cleared their systems?

I’m looking at adding a corgi to my family.
I have a three yr. son and three cats.
I have always had large outdoor dogs, mine in currently 15 and its time to add a new family member before she passes.
I need a traveling dog, both in/out door dog.
Do you prefer M or F and why?
What specific breed within in the breed do you prefer and why?
Who is your breeder?
What an good price for a pedigree dog, NO intention to breed or show?
Special needs?
I owned a welsh corgi and she was lovely. A rescue dog with heart worms, after treatment, she died at approx age 10-12.
We believe she must have been much older, we owned her for 8 years. A great family dog, yet she did NOT like other dogs or cats at all. A real scrapper, fight starter. The sweetest dog otherwise.

My cat threw up a light green liquid and then when she pooped it was the same thing. She has no appetite and is acting “mopey”. She is usually very energentic and full of life. Is it worms or something more serious? Any help is greatly appreciated. Concerned a very loving pet parent

THIS ISN’T HOMEWORK – so don’t yell at me! It’s for a competition I’m studying for later on this month.
I need the scientific names for the following parasites, I already have some of them so let me know if they’re right.
Hookworm = Uncinaria Stenocephala
Tapeworm (rabbit or flea) = NEED
Roundworm = Trichinella Spiralis
Whipworm = Trichuris Vulpis (dog) / Campanula (cat)
Heartworm = Dirofilaria immitis
Mites (sarcoptic or demodetic) = NEED
Flea = Ctenocephalides felis (cat) / canus (dog)
Deer Tick = Ixodes Scapularis
I don’t know if some of the names I have are the right ones, I need the species of them that affect common pets such as cats & dogs.

I had a really bad experience with a local cat breeder, she sold cats with multiple illnesses. Not only financially has this taken a toll on us within the first two weeks of owning the cats, it’s also horrible that we had to watch these animals go through being so sick and the treatment. I think she is cahoots with her vet, supposedly the cats were tested for illnesses prior to her selling them to us, but now all of a sudden in just one week’s time our cats have “some strange bacterial rod” that they have “never seen before” and both of them have had horrible diarrhea and diagnosed with Trichomonas, Spirochets, multi rods and a viral infection causing runny nose and sneezing. Not to mention the fact that all of a sudden my entire family has contracted ring worm. All in the matter of a couple weeks! We love the cats, we are keeping them, but this is crazy. We paid HIGH DOLLAR for these animals from someone who claims to be a professional breeder! Isn’t there regulations?

We recently found a female cat, and the last few days we can tell her belly is rounding. We are wondering if she has hookworms or some other kind of worms or if she is pregnant from some stray.
Her belly is kind of round, and pretty hard to the touch.
We plan to get her shots and vaccined ASAP, but just what to know before hand.

My cats have worms and I bought medicine for them, it said it’s for round worms. Is it the same as heart worms? How can I tell which worms my cats even have? PLEASE don’t say to go to the vet. I WOULDN’T be here asking if I had the money to ask a vet. Basically, it’s little white things that come out the cats anus. I found out yesterday that my pregnant cat has this affliction as well. She should be giving birth in 1-2 weeks. Is it all right to give her the medicine as well?
