Was I wrong in assuming that this program was good for ALL worm infestations?

Take it to the vet. If you saw small worms that look kind of like little pieces of rice, those are tapeworm segments. The vet will give your cat Drontol/praziquantel to get rid of them. If you saw some other worms, your cat will get a different dewormer. The ones you buy in stores don’t work well, get the one from your vet.

I found a moving worm in my bedroom that was brownish. I’ve seen worms before from cats that are smaller and white, so this is not that. I killed it, but I would like to know what it is and where it came from. Is it a larvae?

I have 2 cats, one male, one female. They both stay inside the house 100% of the time (which is why I’ve never wormed them before coz I didn’t think they could get worms if they didn’t go outside). This morning I noticed my female cat has worms. I phoned the emergency vet line (as I’ve never had to deal with worms before) and they said that it can wait till Monday when I can go to the vet and get some tablets.
Is there anything I can do in the meantime? I don’t want to give her any tables from vet shops as I’ve heard they can be dangerous. I’m also going to get rid of her poo as soon as I see it in the litter tray. Anything else I can do until I can get to the vets on Monday?
Will this cause her any discomfort? Is there a risk to me or my other cat?

My cat is a stray; he grew up eating wild things, before I adopted him and converted him into an indoor cat. Recently, the cat got outside and ate a rat. Seeing as how he probably already has toxoplasmosis from his time as a stray, is it even possible that the cat might have contracted it again? Would it, or would it not, be contaminating his excretions?

My cat has recently picked up fleas so I put Front Line on her and still she has them all over her. I found fleas on my coach and bed, everywhere. My mother recommends giving her a bath, but she’s old and hard to handle when trying to bathe her. I can’t stand going another day with those parasites all over her or my house. What should I do?

When she poops, she has a lot of tiny white worms that move in it. She hasn’t had a flea treatment in about a month or two, could that have something to do with it? Could it be tapeworm? Could it infect me or my family?

I have treated her twice and low and behold she still has them! They are little rice looking worms and I really dont have the finances to take her to a vet right now so I need to treat her myself!
