I Was Cleaning My Cats Litter Box And She Had White Feces In There, No Worms Looked Like Snow Poo?

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Your cat is FINE. If you ever looked at your own ‘poo’ after you go, you would notice that if you eat chicken for several days in a row, it gets lighter, if you eat beef for several days in a row, it gets darker. I’m betting you gave you cat a different flavor of cat food … FISH … with no ‘beef, lamb, pork, or chicken’ to give it any color. That with the ‘corn’ they put in catfood for ’starch’ can give a cat ’snow-colored poo.’ It’s scary if you don’t know WHY, but that’s the reason. Try giving your cat a ‘different flavor’ of cat food every day, and her ‘poo’ will be a more ‘neutral light brown’ … but don’t worry about white … it’s a NATURAL coloring from the cat food she’s getting.

There Is A Difference Between Dog & Cat Fleas! Http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/fleas.htm?

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Dog fleas (Ctenocephalides canis) are very rare in the United States and are most commonly found in European countries. They are very similar in appearance to the cat flea and can only be differentiated by very small morphological differences with the use of a microscope.
The most common parasite on your dog will actually be a CAT flea. Dog fleas are commonly found in Europe, while cat fleas are very common to the U.S. Cat fleas are not picky about who they feed on. Cat fleas can, in rare cases, carry disease. Also, if ingested can cause tape worm. The cat flea has been found to carry the plague and murine typhus to humans.

Is There Any Type Of Flea Spray That Won’t Harm Animals?

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

My cat has recently picked up fleas so I put Front Line on her and still she has them all over her. I found fleas on my coach and bed, everywhere. My mother recommends giving her a bath, but she’s old and hard to handle when trying to bathe her. I can’t stand going another day with those parasites all over her or my house. What should I do?

Are There Any Vets Out There That Can Help? Cats And Worms….?

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I am 39 weeks pregnant and have two 4 yr old house cats. One was sick 3 times on Fri and once on Sat and had a bit of diarrhea. She’s not off her food at all, in fact, quite the opposite…Keeps eating it and bringing it back up. I usually give them wet and dry food but gave them just dry food yesterday and she wasn’t sick so I gave her some wet again this morning and so far so good. I took her to the vets today for her booster vaccs and told the vet who said it could be worms and gave her a Drontal worming tablet. What I didn’t ask though, is if she has got worms, can this affect me/baby??

Is There A Natural Way 2 Rid My Cat Of Worms?

Monday, February 8th, 2010

yes, take it to the vet.
there are many types of worms, including hook, whip, round, tape.. and others.
a vet can check under a microscope for specific parasite issues.
if your cat has hookworms and you treat it with a general wormer, it may not help… sometimes you need to give different wormers for specific infestations.
hook and whipworms attach themselves to the intestinal walls. All parasites compete with the host animal for food/nutrients, which can in some cases, lead to death.
also, it is uncomfortable and even painful for the animal who has the worms.
it’s best to have a thorough check, especially if you don’t know the cat’s history.
mackarel won’t do anything, except make the cat happy. LOL
