hi, my cat peanut just turned one and i thought this was weird when he was a kitten, but he still does it. does anyone else think this is odd, or is it normal for a cat to lay in this position?http://img216.imageshack.us/my.php?image…
thanks for any help on this. he’s a very spunky and fun and adorable cat. he’s very small for his age bc he had a stomach parasite before he was even 2 monthes old ( i nursed him back to health).
so if it’s odd, let me know.

It was white, had a tapered tail, but why was it in its food? I havnt seen any in its poo

I wormed my cat with drops that were applied to the back of his neck. It was a brand that I have never used before.
About 5 minutes after it was applied he started frothing at the mouth and ran to go outside. I let him out, but kept an eye on him.
Approx 10 minutes later I checked on him and he was fine and was not frothing anymore.
I brought him in and gave him some treats as I thought maybe he might have reacted to the taste of it.
What could have caused him to do this?

My cat has worms- has anyone tried “Valucat” wormer? It says it treats roundworms, hookworms, AND tapeworms? Has anyone used this product, and if so, what is your review?

it is bleeding profusely, there is blood everywhere i cant beleive it, and since its winter the blood is frozen and its a weird orange color im thinking of just putting her down what do u think?

He’s had diaherra since we got him. Had him tested for parasites and it came back negative. It got worse and turned into yellow mucus…back to the vet and he didn’t run tests be we treated him with an antibiotic, some pill to aid his digestive system, and some special food. He was better right away but about 3/4 through the treatment he is back to diaherra. I can deal with treating him, of course. But he must be the only cat in america that can’t be litter trained. He’ll use it if I put him in there but otherwise he goes in corners, bathtubs, etc. I’ve got aluminum foil all over my house…he just poops on it. He keeps me up all night because he won’t stay in the bathroom without crying all night. In bed, he purrs all night and sleeps on my head, shoulders. Bottom line: he won’t let me sleep at night and I’m cleaning up poop all day. Litter boxes are kept very clean. Unless I can figure something out, he’s going to have to go back to the spca. HELP

ugh. it’s so gross. anyway, there were 3 worms and each were about 3 inches long. and they were white in color. what kind do you think that could be? and what kind of worm medicine should i get? AND should i give it to all 3 of my cats? and could me or my husband get worms from walking barefoot in my house? sorry about all the questions. oh and please don’t be rude to me. thank you

There are 2 types of worms that can be passed from cats to humans…Roundworms and Hookworms.
The eggs of these worms are sticky and can get stuck on your hands or under your fingernails, and if you don’t wash up well enough, you could ingest the eggs and get worms.
I don’t know what “wooval” worms are, though.
I work at an animal hospital after school as a tech assistant, and I just learned how to find worm eggs in fecals under a microscope. Hope this helps.

I think i have noticed quite a few during these days, but i just disregarded it as bits of .. i dont know o-o anyways, today she jumped on my lap and i was petting her, and then i picked out that black curly thing from her white fur, and it was wriggling.. yeesh. Its just a little white head, and i wriggling black body, and is like.. a quarter of a centremeter…

i know my cat has fleas, and i got this flea treatment, but it looks useless, i mean, putting it around her neck, what about near her tail, i see heaps of fleas near her tail .. S:
